Fashion Favourites Of The Month: The Emmy’s Special
This month was full of excitement and fashion off course. Thanks to the fashion weeks and award shows, we got to see some of the most creative looks as well as some really simple ones. From the Emmys to the Iffa, we definitely had more than five favourites. However, let’s focus on the Emmys for now and save the rest for later on!
Our Disney star is all grown up now! Zendaya walked the Emmys’s purple carpet in a Vera Wang custom made floor length gown. Channelling all kinds of sultry vibes, Zendaya wore matching green pumps and simple diamond earrings. Moreover, the drop-down corset look made the simple garment quite a memorable one.
The deep, plunging neckline of the couture was the highlight of the look. The graceful dress code of the event was visible in all of the ensembles. Clarke’s was no exception. She wore a Valentino Haute Couture gown that fit her like a glove. The accessorising was kept minimal with just a pair of matching earrings.
The Game Of Thrones star, may not have bagged any awards, but definitely a lot of complements for her look at the carpet. She wore a Louis Vuitton pastel pink gown that closely hugged her body. The satin finish added elegance to her look while the belt-detailing around her waist added some edge. A perfect representation of her own personality, she kept the accessories and the make-up on a minimal.
Kendall Jenner attended the Emmys with her sister Kim Kardashian and we loved the duo celebrate their styles individually. Right out of the fashion week, Kendall Jenner wore a look that is just as afresh. From the SS’20 collection, Kendall sported a look from Richard Quinn. Even though the look wasn’t original and was styled in the exact same way (black latex bodysuit underneath), we still loved it.
Red carpets each year showcase some of the best power dressing moments. This year the crown passes on to Kerry Washington. She wore a look from Alexander Vauthier. The simple black and white pant suit is no more simple when you add sequin and ruffles. Kerry proved it to us by choosing an outfit that was not only statement but also powerful.
