Only a very recent shift, we can see how our favourite celebrities, and Bollywood in general has started sporting more and more ethnic looks. From Sara Ali Khan’s kurtis to Janhvi Kapoor’s casual sarees, now is the right time to get your ethnic wear out and about. Prints, colours and a lot of rich embroideries, these celebrities have left no handicrafts unexplored. In case you want to keep up with the ethnic trends, keep reading!
SARA ALI KHAN
This recent addition to the Bollywood industry just loves her ethnic wear so much so, that it was hard for us to pick just one look. From casual to occasional, if you need inspiration, Sara Ali Khan will show just what to wear. Her very recent Manish Malhotra sharara took our applause. For her promotions she was spotted in an all-white, embroidered sharara. The embroidery seemed to be Chikankari and had hints of pink and yellow all throughout the fabric.
JANHVI KAPOOR
Janhvi Kapoor has received much credit for being low-key on her social media. Her style is something we can all relate with and easily recreate too. From all of her amazing saree looks, our favourite was the Manish Malhotra one. The simple saree can be dressed up or down as per the occasion. The look was styled with a halter-neck blouse and a statement choker necklace. The saree had a subtle golden border and looked stunning on the actress.
SHRADDHA KAPOOR
Anita Dongre is known for her prints and her traditional silhouettes. Shraddha Kapoor was recently spotted in a long-choli lehenga by Anita Dongre that instantly became our favourite. We were all wondering when long-cholis would make a comeback and they have now. The green lehenga was styled very simply and we loved the look to all its bits.
KATRINA KAIF
Katrina Kaif is one of the actresses who sports ethnic wear with a subtle sexiness. Her smoldering signature eye make-up maybe the reason! In this look, she is seen wearing an Anita Dongre saree. She paired up the printed piece with a simple red blouse and some minimal jewellery. The saree seemed to be a chiffon one. However, in our opinion the red bindi is what pulled the entire look together.
